My name is Brighton.\u00a0 I am a golden retriever, but I am an unusual cr\u00e8me color that almost looks white.\u00a0 Therefore, my breed is called an English Cr\u00e8me Golden Retriever.\u00a0 My breed is more well-known in Europe than in the U.S., so people often stop to ask what kind of dog I am.\u00a0 I was born in the Netherlands, at a kennel called The Morning Valley.\u00a0 Therefore, I am Brighton of the Morning Valley, or, for short\u2026\u2026BRIGHTON MORNING!<\/p>\n
As a ten week old Puppy, I was flown in a crate in the cargo hold of a KLM airliner from Amsterdam to Chicago.\u00a0 My breed is known to have a \u201cmild temperament\u201d and to be very friendly and smart.\u00a0 Friendly is a word that fits me very well, as wherever I go I want to meet and greet people, and wag my fluffy tail with genuine delight.\u00a0 With my \u201cmild temperament, I am so well-behaved that even small children can safely pet me with permission from their parents.\u00a0 With tiny children, I readily lay down so I do not look so big to them.<\/p>\n
